Visa Requirements

Visas are required for all visitors to Egypt. However, the process can vary depending on your nationality and travel plans. Here are the key visa options and requirements:

1. E-Visa

  • Who Can Apply: Most nationalities can obtain an e-Visa for tourism purposes.
  • Application Process: Apply online by completing an application and making the required payment.
  • Timing: You can obtain an e-Visa up to 3 months before your travel date, and it is valid for 30 days from your entry into Egypt.
  • Eligible Countries: The e-Visa is available for a wide range of eligible countries.
  • Cost: The current cost for a single-entry e-Visa for tourism is USD or equivalent. Be aware that this fee may increase to USD without prior notice.
  • Recommendation: Securing an e-Visa before travel is advisable, as it expedites the immigration process upon arrival.

2. Visa Upon Arrival

  • Who Can Apply: Some nationalities have the option to obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at Cairo International Airport.
  • Cost: The current cost of a visa upon arrival is USD, payable in USD cash. GBP or Euro payments (cash only) may also be accepted based on the daily exchange rate.
  • Note: The visa fee upon arrival may increase to USD without prior notice.
  • Caution: In the event of visa refusal at the port of entry, On The Go Tours cannot be held responsible. To avoid currency hassles and expedite immigration, obtaining an e-Visa before arrival is recommended (if eligible).
