E-Visa Travel Application

e-Visa can be used for tourism, transit, and business purposes

Egypt is among the world’s oldest and culturally rich civilizations. Its unified kingdoms date back to approximately 3000 BC. That was the time when Pharaoh ruled over the kingdom of Egypt. The country holds political and geographic significance in the continent by linking northeast Africa with the Middle East. From tourism perspective, it houses some of the world’s most well-preserved but old monuments. Such as the enormous Giza Pyramids, which are part of the seven wonders of the Ancient World list. In addition to that, there is the great Sphinx, and countless Pharaohs’ tombs containing hieroglyphs. So, from tourism to architectural, historical, and cultural aspects, Egypt is an ideal destination to visit and spend time.

Thankfully, visiting the land of Pharaohs and ancient relics is not an issue any more. You are no longer required to travel to Egyptian embassies repeatedly to obtain a tourist or visit visa. The government has introduced an electronic visa system also called the e-Visa to facilitate foreign travelers and tourists. You can apply for the e-Visa right from your home or even when on the go using your smartphone, laptop, desktop, or tablet. This website is dedicated to Egypt electronic visa services.

The Egypt government launched the Egypt eVisa in 2017, as a way of allowing foreigners to obtain a visa in an easier way before they travel to Egypt.

If a traveler is from a country aside from the visa-exempt ones or they don’t meet the criteria for visa-free entry, they will need to apply for a visa to be allowed to enter Egypt. An eVisa is fundamentally a pre-registration for the holder of the document. Once the traveler gets into his destination, the Egypt eVisa will be replaced with a regular visa so the traveler can freely enter the host country. This is the reason why people who are going to Egypt are advised to get their documents ready before boarding the plane so they don’t waste any money, time, and effort.

Egypt will also require an Egypt Health Declaration Form on top of the visa requirement. The basic function of the form is to serve as a record of the recent health and medical status of the person that it is referring to. It is also a record of where the traveler went, especially the countries he’s been to within the past 14 days. That said, the most secure way to get one is to ‘complete an application’ using this platform. These are the nine countries that enjoy visa-free entry arrangements for their citizens: Bahrain, Hong Kong, Jordan, Kuwait, Macao, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

There are also countries whose citizens may be exempted from the visa policy depending on their age bracket, gender, place of residence, intended destination, or certain passport conditions. You can check if you're nationality is exempted from this visa here.

When you apply for travel documents using the service, you can be sure that the information is accurate. That means that everything is processed correctly and the application causes zero worries and stress for the traveler. The platform is a trusted name in the digital travel documents business, providing the correct documents to their customers, and they have done so for the past several years.

Advantages of the Egypt eVisa

Before the official Egypt eVisa was available, tourists would have to spend hours queuing for a visa on arrival and to pass through customs. Visitors to Egypt prefer the advantages of the eVisa over those of the Visa on Arrival.

The eVisa for Egypt offers convenience by saving travelers the time needed to queue and apply for a visa on arrival. Instead of applying at the border, the eVisa allows tourists to apply online in minutes from any computer, tablet or other devices.

This can potentially save travelers hours at the border as there are sometimes complications. Tourists can enter Egypt with the peace of mind that their visa application has already been approved.

Unlike the visa on arrival, the Egypt eVisa is also available as a multiple-entry visa. This is useful for any travelers who need to leave and reenter Egypt. The multiple-entry visa offers numerous entries into Egypt over a period of 180 days as long as the total number of days spent in every entry does not exceed 30.
